The Blanco girls basketball team split a pair of games last week.
The Lady Panthers opened the week with a 35-32 win over Marble Falls Faith Academy and dropped their district opener to Ingram, 31-24. Blanco is 9-14 overall and 0-1 in District 5-3A games.
Blanco led 10-7 after the first quarter and held a 21-10 halftime lead against Faith Academy. The Lady Flames outscored the Lady Panthers 15-4 in the third quarter to tie the game at 25-all. Blanco outscored Faith Academy 10-7 in the fourth quarter to win.
