The Blanco boys basketball team added two wins last week to improve to 12-5 on the season.
The Panthers earned an exciting 51-50 overtime victory against the San Marcos Home School team on Jan. 6 and a rolled to a decisive 66-47 win over Bandera last Friday.
“It has been a great season so far. This team has done a great job on both ends of the court and we are feeling good going into district play,” Blanco coach Austin Karrer said. “Hopefully we can continue to build on this momentum going into district, because it is going to be a battle each and every night. Every team is now 0-0, so we must continue to get better each and every day, and I feel we have the kids to do that. It is a special group, and I am excited to see what we can do the rest of the way.”
