Mason County Commissioners reviewed monthly departmental reports on Monday, at their first regular meeting of 2026.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Director Thain Martin said we are “getting closer” to having the ability for two ambulances and crews to be out at the same time, with a target date of February 1.
In 2025, Mason’s EMS had over seven hundred 911 calls, the most to date, he said.
