Johnson City went 2-1 in the Lady Eagle Classic from Dec. 29 to Dec. 30 before falling to San Saba 50-30 on Jan. 2.

The Lady Eagles 1-1 in the young district season. As the season continues, the Lady Eagles will likely be right in the middle of the competitive playoff chase. For head coach Chris Schlike, the team still has some work to do in order to have the best shot at another trip to the playoffs.

“We got to find ways to execute at a higher level and not even worry about what the road ahead lays with us,” Schlicke said. “I think we have to focus on ourselves and who we are as a team.”
