Horseshoe Bay resident Lee Womble was presented with the prestigious 2025 Spindletop Founders Award by the Spindletop Community Impact Partners board of directors during the Spindletop Holiday Ball on Dec. 11 at the Post Oak Uptown in Houston.

The award recognizes an individual within the service sector of the energy industry for exceptional contributions to both the industry and the broader community.

This year’s black-tie gala welcomed more than 500 community and business leaders for an unforgettable “Under the Big Top” celebration, continuing its legacy as the premiere holiday event in the energy industry. The festive evening raised more than $1 million to support nonprofit programs serving Houston’s children and families, with proceeds benefiting organizations dedicated to youth development, health, education, and family well-being.
