Just before school districts across the state took the final two weeks of December off for the Christmas holiday, the University Interscholastic League released the cutoff numbers for each classification though it will not announce realignment for another two months.
Realignment will tell each member school district in which district it will compete in for the 2026-28 school years.
Llano, which submitted an enrollment number of 509.1, will remain in Class 3A. The cutoff number for Class 3A is 246-549. The UIL announced the classification will have 232 schools with 205 fielding a football team, 223 playing volleyball and 229 playing basketball.
