Johnson City lost to Granger 68-33 on Dec 22. in its first home game of the season.
Granger jumped out to a huge 26-3 lead in the first quarter. Despite the Eagles outscoring the Lions in the second quarter, Granger retook the momentum and finished with a strong 35-point victory.
“We didn’t come out to play form the get-go and Granger did,” Johnson City head coach Rich Powers said. “If we could have matched their intensity and physicality right away, think that this game is a lot closer.”
