The 2025 Llano High School football team earned five gold ball trophies this season, including the District 13-3A Division I title for the second year in a row and four of the last five.
With a perfect 5-0 record, district coaches couldn’t help but recognize the outstanding individual play of several Yellow Jackets.
“What a showing we have on this team,” head coach Matt Green said. “Clearly, we were the district champions, so our representation is strong. We are so proud of every player on our team whether they received an award or not. What made our team great was not the individuals, but rather the team we put on the field every day at practice and each Friday night. We played as a team and we won as a team. I can not express in words how proud I am of this group of young men and our coaches.”
