Art lovers will have a chance to celebrate the season while getting a preview of what’s ahead for one of Llano’s most distinctive cultural events at the “White Russian Christmas Party” and meet-and-greet with internationally acclaimed sculptor Dmitrii Klimenko.
The event takes place Saturday, December 20, at The Falls in Llano and is being organized and executed by volunteers of the Llano Earth Art Fest (LEAF), which will return March 27–29, 2026, at Grenwelge Park. The evening serves as both a holiday gathering and a bridge to the festival’s next chapter, highlighting the internationally recognized talent that has helped make LEAF a destination event.
Klimenko, who is traveling from Russia to the Texas Hill Country, is known worldwide for his award-winning work in sand, wood, driftwood, and other natural materials. Guests will be among the first to see a sneak preview of a permanent driftwood and carved-wood sculpture he is currently creating, along with information on how the finished work can be acquired.
