On a crisp, misty December evening, Lake Church of Horseshoe Bay welcomed neighbors and friends to its annual Christmas worship concert.
This year’s concert, themed “Fearless Christmas,” was a heartfelt celebration filled with music, fellowship and worship. Beneath a towering Christmas tree and twinkling lights, guests were greeted with the comforting aroma of hot chocolate and fresh-baked cookies, creating a scene as warm as the music itself.
Now in its second year, the concert has quickly become a highlight for the community, uniting people from all walks of life to celebrate the season’s true meaning. Pastor Gene Glaeser guided the audience through the nativity story, weaving reflections on the courage and faith of Maiy, Joseph and all who played a part in Christ’s birth between each stirring hymn and carol. Each note and narration reminded everyone present what it means to have a faith that stands firm, even in uncertain times - truly a “Fearless Christmas.”
