Star Republican Women (SRW) closed out its 50th anniversary year in grand style with a beautifully attended holiday luncheon and fundraiser on Tuesday at Quail Point Lodge in Horseshoe Bay. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of members, guests, community leaders and elected ovcials, all gathered to celebrate the Christmas season and SRW’s legacy of service to the Highland Lakes area.
Guests enjoyed an elegant catered lunch surrounded by festive holiday décor while taking part in a program filled with inspiration and heartfelt messages. SRW President Kay Guidry welcomed attendees and reflected on the club's five decades of leadership, education and civic engagement.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was the appearance of Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott, who shared words of encouragement, warmth and gratitude during her remarks. Her presence brought a special grace to the celebration and was warmly received by all in attendance.
