Competitive races set for county judge, precinct 2 commissioner in GOP primary

Filing for the March 2026 primary election is complete and there will be two competitive elections in the Republican Party primary in Blanco County.

The deadline to file in the primary election was Monday.

Incumbent Brett Bray will face challengers Ray Bible and Stephanie Fisher in the Republican primary for Blanco County judge. Bray is in his second term as county judge. Fisher serves as mayor of Johnson City after previously serving on the city council, while Bible has been a long-time member of the Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department.
