The Mason High School girls basketball team defeated Coleman 58-26 November 25 to end the first month with a 9-1 overall record.
Head coach Alicia Cummings noted the Cowgirls took a very business-like approach before enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday.
“I did feel like we came out and shot the ball pretty well early,” she said. “We were able to pressure them with our press. And so I thought our kids did a good job. I thought we had kids really step up. We had some guards have to guard some of Coleman’s bigger post kids, and I thought they really handled that well.”
