Yellow Jackets Use Lessons from Last Year in New Season

The Llano High School boys basketball team lost to Fredericksburg 60-38 November 18 in the season opener. 

The result illustrated what head coach Landry Norwood has been saying – the returners to this team learned some hard lessons a year ago they are using now.

“We need to play good teams to get better,” he said. “We were very young (a year ago). Lots of sophomores on the team last year that gained a lot of varsity experience and of course all those kids are returning, and so they've got a year under their belts.”
