Saturday November 15, the Odeon hosted a performance by the acclaimed Peterson Brothers. A rising force in American blues and funk, they are known for their dynamic blend of blues, funk, soul and jazz.

The Austin Chronicle wrote of brothers Glenn and Alex Peterson, “Bastrop upstarts the Peterson Brothers have been tearing up the stage at the Continental Club since they were both teens.”

The Peterson Brothers grew up surrounded by music in Central Texas. Inspired by an array of artists like Gary Clark, Jr., Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, and Prince, they began performing at a young age and developed a unique sound. Glenn Peterson (guitar, vocals) and Alex Peterson (bass, vocals) founded the band at age 13 and 11, respectively, and quickly earned recognition for their musicianship and on-stage charisma.
