Punchers Prepare for Creative Shorthorns
Ayo Jegede prepares to run for yardage after catching a pass during the Mason vs. Marlin game. The Punchers dominated Marlin 61-15 and took home the Bi-District trophy.

The Mason High School football team will face Schulenburg in the area round of the Class 2A Division I playoffs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 21, at John Gupton Stadium in Cedar Park.

The Shorthorns (6-5, 4-2 District 15-2A Division I third place) are very familiar to Mason head coach Wade Griffin.

From 2022-24, Griffin guided his old team, the Weimar Wildcats, to a 3-0 record against Schulenburg.
