The Mason High School girls basketball team is 3-0 thanks to wins against Roscoe 55-40 November 15 and Boerne Geneva 77-19 November 11. The Cowgirls defeated Burnet 72-25 November 8 in the season opener.
Head coach Alicia Cummings noted the Cowgirls faced a motivated group of Plowgirls determined to defend their home court.
“It was a good game for us,” she said. “That’s a good ball club over there and it was good for us to get on the road. And we had chances early, I thought, to run away with it. Credit to them for hitting some shots and hanging around.”
