Johnson City beat Harper 49-26 last Friday, Nov. 7 and clinched a playoff spot. It will play Crawford in the first playoff round on Nov. 14 in Bartlett.

It was a close 14-7 Johnson City lead at halftime. The third quarter was much the same with each team adding one touchdown. The Eagles turned their 21-14 lead in the third quarter into an offensive explosion in the fourth as they won 49-26 to secure a playoff spot.

After Johnson City failed to make the playoffs a year ago, coach Brent Kornegay has led his team to a 5-5 overall record and a playoff spot in his first season at the helm.
