The Doss community is sponsoring a blood drive in honor of Kevin Geistweidt, on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at the St. Peter Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, in Doss.
The drive is being conducted by the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center of San Antonio.
Geistweidt is recovering at a rehab facility in San Antonio. He had been hospitalized in San Antonio since Sept. 18.
