Kenny Thacker is a bluegrass picker from Kentucky and Russell Thornberry is an old Canadian country legend. You can hear them at 6:30 pm at River of Life Church in Mason Texas this Saturday night, November 15th.
Kenny is a gifted storyteller, songwriter, guitar player, and soulful singer who was raised in a holler in eastern Kentucky. He experienced a simple, rural mountain life spending hours picking with friends and family on the front porch that ultimately led to numerous appearances and recording projects.
Kenny has been echoing the songs and stories of home around the world for over 50 years; including venues like the Grand Ole Opry and the World Famous Station Inn, sharing the stage with such artists as Alison Krauss, Amy Grant and Vince Gill.
