TxDOT has set a community workshop for next week to discuss potential relief route options.
The come-and-go workshop will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Blanco High School to present the “recommended relief route option,” according to the TxDOT website, as well as feedback received from the January workshop.
The City of Blanco has stated its opposition to the final two proposed relief route options that TxDOT presented in January. Those two options run in city limits or in its extraterritorial jurisdiction. In a letter late last month to TxDOT, the city said the organization should move any relief route outside city limits or the ETJ -- or end the relief route study.
