A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Hunter Education Classroom Course will be offered in Llano on Tuesday, November 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lyssy and Eckel Feed Store, 105 E. Young Street.
The class, taught by certified volunteer instructor Joe Tarter, is open to novice and young hunters age 9 and older. It covers the fundamentals of firearm and hunting safety, hunting ethics, and wildlife conservation - key topics every responsible hunter should know.
All course materials will be provided, and participants should plan for up to six hours of classroom instruction, not including breaks or testing time. Pre-registration is required, and there are 38 seats available. The course fee is $15, though additional range or facility fees may apply.
