The Llano High School football team romped to its fifth district crown in six years thanks to blowing out Ingram Tom Moore 34-14 November 7.

Going into the contest, Llano Stadium became the site of the District 13-3A Division I championship with both teams determined to win the title outright.

“I also credit our staff for adjusting to what they were trying to do to us on offense,” Llano head coach Matt Green said. “Our defense did a great job. We have wide receiver packages throwing the ball. Offensively, we had some really good answers to what they were doing defensively, and we were able to finally get both (our) run game and the passing game going in the second half. The passing game is what allowed us in the first half to move the ball and create big play.”
