As Llano High School girls basketball head coach Jay Parker mentally thought back on the roster and the accomplishments of the program since he took over four years ago, he kept repeating the same phrase.
“I think we’re going to be OK,” he said. “I’m not going to go out and make any overt statements at this point. But we’re going to be OK.”
It’s easy to see why Parker feels good about this team as it begins the season on the road at Thorndale Saturday, November 5, with the subvarsities playing at 10 a.m. and the varsity at 11:15 a.m.
