The Mason High School boys cross country team finished seventh at the Class 2A state meet November 1 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.
The Punchers were paced by junior Cooper Ratliff, who was fourth overall in the individual standings of the 5K race thanks to clocking 16 minutes and 40.2 seconds.
“He ran really, really well,” head coach Terra Griffin said.
