Only Mother Nature stopped the Llano Yellow Jackets from a more decisive win against Universal City Randolph October 24.
The Jackets (7-1, 3-0) crushed the Ro-Hawks (2-6, 0-3) 35-0 after enjoying a District 13-3A Division I bye last week in a contest that ended with 8 minutes and 58 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The reason was because of lightning and expected inclement weather that forced officials to move up the kickoff by an hour. The lopsided score and the amount of the contest that was already played meant the outcome met the University Interscholastic League criteria to make it an official game.
No statistic better illustrates how truly superior Llano was to Randolph than the drive chart.
