Mason Puncher Band Advances to Area
For the eighth year in a row, the Mighty Mason Puncher Band received a Division 1 at Region 32 UIL Marching Contest. The Mighty Mason Puncher Band attended the Region 32 UIL marching contest last Saturday and came away with “straight 1’s” giving them a 1st division and advancing to area competition.

This is the 8th year in a row for the band to receive a 1st division at marching contest. Area competition is Saturday, October 25th, at Little River-Academy. Performance is at 2:15 p.m. for preliminaries and the announcement of who makes finals will be at 5:00 pm. Finals will be from 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. with announcement of who advances to state at 9:15 pm.

This year 18 bands qualified for our area, seven will make it to finals and only three will make it to state competition.
