Basketball coaches are notorious for wanting their players, who aren’t playing another fall sport, to run cross country.
The Mason boys basketball program under the direction of new head coach Craig Koch is no different. That’s why when the Punchers and Cowgirls boarded a bus to go to Corpus Christi for the Class 2A Region IV meet October 21, several Puncher basketball players hopped on board. Results of the regional meet weren’t available by press time.
They are Rylan Hershman, Robert Johnson, Corbin Martinez, Cooper Ratliff and Noah Sparks.
