Llano residents and visitors stepped back in time October 17–19, 2025, for Llano Heritage Days, a weekend celebrating the rich history and culture of Llano County. The event took place throughout Llano’s historic Railroad District, the Llano County Historical Museum, and the Llano Cemetery.

Festivities began Friday evening, October 17, with a BBQ Dinner hosted by the Llano County Historical Commission. Guests enjoyed authentic Texas barbeque - brisket, chicken, potato salad, pinto beans, onions, pickles, and homemade fruit cobbler - while tapping their toes to live music by local favorites Manny & Teru. The dinner, held on the loading dock at the Railroad District, set the tone for the weekend.

Saturday, October 18, brought a full day of family-friendly activities from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Railroad District and Llano County Historical Museum. Visitors explored living history reenactments, an antique quilt show, and presentations by descendants of Llano’s pioneer families. Music and entertainment filled the day, along with educational exhibits and demonstrations celebrating Llano’s cultural legacy.
