Runners Perform Well at Home Meet

In a large Mason Invitational cross country meet October 1, the hosts did more than hold their own against the area’s programs.

The Punchers won the varsity division and finished second in the junior varsity division, while the Cowgirls were third in the varsity division.

“I felt that we ran well,” head coach Terra Griffin said. “Knowing the meet or knowing the course I think helped us. We ran super confident.”
