The District 5-3A cross country meet was held Monday, Oct. 6 at Comfort High School.
The Blanco varsity girls team placed fourth, just one point from advancing to regional as a team. Florence was first with 51 points and Comfort placed second with 60 points. Llano edged out Blanco, 68 to 69. Ingram had 116 and Brady, 117.
Three Blanco runners medaled, placing in the top 10, and will advance to regionals. Ashton Uballe placed fourth with a time of 14:03.553. Lily Zamora placed seventh in 14:18.827 and Kinley Boyd placed ninth with a team of 14:42.251. All three will run at regionals.
