The Blanco football team fell to Yoakum, 54-21, last Friday in the homecoming game.
The loss ended a four-game winning streak for the Panthers as they fell to 4-2 on the season. Yoakum improved to 5-1 with the win.
“We played poorly against a very talented Yoakum team,” Blanco coach Kent Walker said. “We have to get better in practice this week as we prepare for district play. Rogers is a really good football team, and we’ll need to play a lot better than we did last Friday night.”
