The Mason High School cross country program competed at the Steve Golemon Memorial Invitational hosted by Llano September 24 and won both varsity divisions.
The Cowgirls were paced by Elizabeth McFarland, who took the individual gold medal. Behind her was Kaitlin Pavia and M.J. Griffin.
Head coach Terra Griffin said what pleased her the most are the times the trio ran.
