It’s homecoming week in Blanco.
Homecoming day is Friday with kickoff set for 7 p.m. against Yoakum. Homecoming royalty will also be crowned Friday night.
The annual homecoming parade and pep rally will be held Wednesday. The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. The parade starts at the high school and heads down Fourth Street. The parade will turn right onto Elm Street, then head down Third Street as it crosses U.S. Hwy. 281. The parade will head around the square and turn left onto Fourth Street to head to Panther Stadium, where the pep rally will be held at 7 p.m.
