26th Annual Wild Game Dinner Set for Oct. 4

Organizers of the Wild Game Dinner are looking forward to serving a delicious variety of game to a large crowd Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Blanco County Show Barn in Johnson City.

This year’s fare is fried Axis, fried nilgai, whole alligator, fresh homemade sausage, fried shrimp, catfish, pork cutlets, brisket, poppers and chili. The meal includes homemade desserts and tea. This fundraiser would not be possible without the help of our amazing cooks, exhibitors and parent volunteers who donate this time to this event.

Come join us when the doors open at 4 p.m. The raffle starts at 5 p.m. and dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. It’s the best deal in town - $25 for the meal, a door prize chance and dance with the Jessie Stratton Band.
