The Blanco volleyball team dropped a contest to intra- county foe Johnson City and lost in its first district contest last week.
The Lady Panthers are 8-21 overall and 0-1 in district play.
Blanco lost 3-0 to Johnson City with set scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-17. Gretschen Grosch led the Lady Panthers with seven kills. Payton Craft, Carleigh Dotson and Brylee Stipanovich each had three kills.
