Mason High School golfer Ainsley Burns was chosen as the University Interscholastic League’s Athlete of the Year in Classes 1A-4A.
She led the Cowgirls to their fourth consecutive state championships in 2025 and has three individual state titles. She is a senior this year.
Burns was presented with the plaque during an assembly at Mason High School September 15 by former UIL Executive Director Charles Breithaupt and Texas Girls Coaches Association Executive Director Sam Tipton.
