The Mason High School football team earned its first victory of 2025 thanks to thumping Coleman 50-9 September 12.
“We're finally healthy, and we're deeper and guys were more fresh because they had chances to rest thanks to backups and stuff like that,” head coach Wade Griffin said. “That was really good for us as well. We're going to be a really good football team, and we've been telling people that. It's just when you have as many young guys as we do, it's just going to take time for them to figure it out and us to figure each other out.”
Mason scored on its opening possession when senior receiver Trevor Loeffler caught a third down pass from sophomore quarterback Ryder Balmos from 42 yards out for the 6-0 lead.
