The Blanco volleyball team fell to Class 6A foe Canyon Lake in five sets then picked up a 3-1 victory over Bandera in action last week.
The set scores in defeat to the Lady Hawks were 23-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23 and 15-12.
Gretschen Grosch led Blanco with 11 kills against Canyon Lake, while Carleigh Dotson added 10 kills. Briley Myers scored five kills. Landry Meyer served four aces and Myers had three. Lily Bendele, Kamryn Gaskamp and Grosch each served one ace.
