The Blanco junior varsity football team defeated the Lanier Voks by a 40-13 score last Thursday to move to 3-0 on the season.
In the first quarter, Colt Johnson scored the Panthers’ first touchdown. The two-point attempt was no good. Preston Adams rushed for a touchdown and added the two-point conversion later in the frame and Blanco led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Johnson rushed for two touchdowns. The extra point attempts were no good. Lanier scored a touchdown, but Blanco led 26-6 at halftime.
