Dramatic Improvements Made at Fox Hollow Springs Park
Rick Overholt, left, chair of the POA Parks and Trails Committee, and Jim Jorden, chair of the HSB Historical Advisory Committee, stand together on the day the historic sign about the Tiger Mill Community was installed in the Fox Hollow Springs Park which is undergoing dramatic improvements – the result of community wide cooperation.

One of the most significant signs of healing and cooperation in the community of Horseshoe Bay is happening at the Fox Hollow Springs Park, at 4009 Mountain Dew in HSB South.

The POA, the Resort, The City, private contractors, and even Burnet County have come together to make dramatic needed improvements to the beautiful historic park.

POA Board Member Rick Overholt has been actively working to create a pathway around the park since 2023. The quarter-mile pathway will also have a spur up the hill to the Conrad Fuchs House ruins (1865-1898), where additional parking is planned. The pathway will consist of cedar mulch with steel edging, a small bridge across the live creek where the Tiger Mill once stood, ending at the parking area off Mountain Dew Road.
