The Blanco varsity football team romped past the Randolph Ro-Hawks 63-7 last Friday in their second game of the season. Blanco moved to 1-1 on the year, while Randolph fell to 0-2.
”We had a great week of practice and preparation,” said Blanco coach Kent Walker. “We still have a lot of work to do, but I am proud of our players and how they responded to a disappointing week one. We are going to continue to focus on us and Blanco football and getting better with every rep in practice.”
Brodrick Siwecki kicked off for the Panthers with Logan Schwarzlose, Cody Waltrip and Hunter Rodriguez stopping the returner at the Randolph 16-yard line. Kaden Elrod chased the Ro-Hawk quarterback in the backfield for a sack at the two and the visiting team was forced to punt.
