Ann Wright, a long-time resident of Horseshoe Bay and recently retired employee of the Horseshoe Bay Resort Baseline Pro Shop (tennis/ pickleball), was honored by the HSB Resort and many friends at a gathering on Aug. 28 at Slick Rock Clubhouse Bar.
Israel Castillo, current director of racquet sports at the Resort, along with Michelle Stallard, former tennis pro at the Resort and Aland Price, also a former tennis pro at the Resort, spoke to the large crowd of friends commending Ann’s 21 years working at the Pro Shop.
Ann and her husband Don moved to HSB in1994. They were active in both tennis and golf at the Resort. Ann played in the Maverick Tennis Ladies Group. In 2004, Ann accepted the opportunity to work at the Tennis Pro Shop in a capacity that she continued for two decades.
