A number of guests attended the 52nd annual wreath laying ceremony held Aug. 27 at the Johnson family cemetery at LBJ Historical National Park.
The ceremony in commemoration of Lyndon B. Johnson’s 117th birthday continues a tradition that was started by Lady Bird Johnson in 1973.
Park Superintendent Matt Carroll welcomed special guests, which included Colonel Erik L. Dutkiewicz and Catherine Robb, daughter of Lynda Johnson Robb and Charles Robb and granddaughter of LBJ.
