Fredericksburg Music Club Announces Next Season’s Concerts
A Grammy Award-nominated group formed in 2009, this classical quartet that has performed throughout the U.S. as well as Central America, Spain and China is expected to “push the boundaries of the guitar quartet medium by premiering exciting new works, reimagining beloved favorites and creating daring arrangements of orchestral works by Mozart, Beethoven and Ravel” when they perform here Jan. 18, 2026, as part of the Fredericksburg Music Club’s 89th year of providing quality performances for Texas Hill Country residents beginning in 1937. The 3 p.m. concert – one of eight scheduled during the FMC’s 2025-2026 season – will be presented in the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church sanctuary, 1800 North Llano.

Beginning with a performance by this year’s Silver Medalist at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, a new season of eight programs has been scheduled by the Fredericksburg Music Club which opens its 2025-2026 schedule in September, Mark Eckhardt, FMC president, has announced.

For the musical listening pleasure of Texas Hill Country residents, which run through May 2026, will include classical and contemporary piano, string and brass performances.

Normally set to begin at 3 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month in the sanctuary of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 North Llano, the 2025-2026 season’s programs will feature:
