The Blanco varsity volleyball team posted a 2-5 record last week.
The Lady Panthers opened the week with a 3-0 loss to Fredericksburg Tuesday, Aug. 26 at the BHS gym. Carleigh Dotson led Blanco with 12 kills, while Brylee Stipanovich added eight. Gretschen Grosch hit four kills and Payton Craft made two kills.
Lily Bendele and Kamryn Gaskamp each served two aces, while Briley Myers, Amelia Bonar and Dotson each served one ace. Craft had three solo blocks. Grosch, Myers and Bonar each had one block. Bendele made 19 digs, while Grosch had 13 and Dotson added 11. Landry Meyer had six digs and Gaskamp had four. Bendele led the team on serve receive with 22. Gaskamp had 12 and Dotson added 11.
