Blanco fell in its season opener to Hondo, 20-13, last Friday.
The Owls got on the scoreboard first via a touchdown with 1:29 remaining in the first quarter. The Panthers responded with a 72-yard touchdown run by Colten Kuebel. The extra point attempt was no good and the game was tied 6-6 at the 4:39 mark of the second quarter.
The Panthers took the lead on a run by Westin Walker with 2:07 left in the first half. Brodrick Siwecki’s extra point gave Blanco a 13-6 lead.
