The 2024 Llano High School volleyball team made school history in many categories – winning the District 5-3A championship plus bi-district and area rounds of the Class 3A Division I playoffs.
The Lady Jackets were ranked in the top 20 of the Class 3A poll by the Texas Girls Coaches Association and were doing all they could to get to the state tournament. Only a loss to eventual state champion Bushland ended their season.
“Our goal was to play in a state championship,” head coach Claire Head said. “The team that beat us out played in the state championship. We set records and we broke records.”
