Llano County Commissioners met in regular session Monday, August 25, at 9:00 a.m., starting with two public hearings on the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget and the FY2025 tax rate.
Budget and Tax Rate Hearings
The first hearing, on the FY2026 budget, opened at 9:05 a.m. Only one resident, from Tow, spoke. He urged commissioners to “be as trim as possible” and suggested raising revenue by charging heavy trucks and mining companies whose operations are wearing down county roads.
