The Mason High School football team put on a show during its final scrimmage in August.
On a night when fans could Meet the Punchers during the annual event with the scrimmage against the Blanco Panthers serving as the main event, Mason was simply a bad host.
That’s because the Punchers gave fans plenty to cheer for as they moved the ball offensively on the ground and through the air during the controlled portion of the scrimmage and the live quarter. They mixed in solid runs and accurate passes, and the Punchers delivered by making clutch plays that wowed the crowd.
